EDC trays aren't a new idea. There are hundreds of them out there — leather valets, wooden boxes, plastic organizers, fabric pouches. The category isn't missing options. It's missing one done right.

So we read the reviews. Hundreds of them, across the most popular EDC trays on the market. The complaints were remarkably consistent: compartments too small for a folding knife, layouts that work for keys but not coins (or coins but not pens), wood that warps and splits, finishes that look cheap wherever you put them.
